Top 3 Favorite Things in my Kitchen Right Now
I bought this in January during a Target special for $12 simply because it was a deal, and I'm a sucker for those. I reach for this more often than I thought I would. I use it for fresh fruit smoothies, dips, and sauces on the fly. It's extremely easy to clean, lightweight, and gets the job done.
My two favorite features are the drinking spout/lid and the fact that it sits upright, so it doesn't leak all over the blade.
As you can imagine, my knives get a lot of use - probably 4-5 hours per day. While I have many high-quality knives, I always find myself reaching for this Miyabi. The birch-wood handle is so comfortable and lightweight. My knife skills improved tremendously since I started using this a year and some change ago.
It's worth the splurge!
So these little guys are everything I didn't know I needed. I must admit that I wouldn't always store lemon and lime halves properly, so I had to throw them out by the time I remembered I had them. These food huggers are so convenient and reduce food waste in my kitchen.
They're great for lemon, lime, and onion halves. They serve as a lid for open cans. And they even have specific molds for avocados! Win-win!!!
