CRAB RANGOON
INGREDIENTS
8 oz Lump Crab Meat
1 Bunch Scallions, Thinly Sliced
4 oz Cream Cheese, Softened at Room Temp
Granulated Garlic, Salt and Pepper TT
Store-bought Wonton Wrappers
Peanut Oil for Frying
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix lump crab meat, scallions, cream cheese, granulated garlic, salt, and pepper until well incorporated.
Fill a small bowl of water and set it aside.
Add filling to the middle of the wonton wrapper. Wet the sides of the wonton wrapper and fold opposite sides together. Repeat until you run out of filling.
Heat a deep pot of peanut oil to 350 F / 175 C. Add wontons to hot oil, frying in small batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Carefully remove once they are golden brown and the oil bubbling nearly dissipates.
